The Little Cropped One Knitting Pattern
$8
This chunky, cropped and fluffy knitting pattern is great for beginners, and comes as an easy-to-read downloadable PDF.
Description:
The Little Cropped One is knitted from the bottom up in separate pieces, using 2 strands of the same yarn in different colours held together. The jumper is knitted flat and assembled at the end. First you will work the back body, starting with the 1×1 rib in stripes. The rest of the back is worked in stockinette stitch. The front is then worked in the same way as the back until the shaping takes place by binding off the centre section and working the 2 shoulders separately. Use decreases to shape the neckline. The balloon sleeves are then constructed by working 1×1 rib stitch for the cuffs, increasing directly above the cuff, and knitting stockinette stitch for the rest of the sleeves with 3 wide stripes. The shoulders are joined, and then the stitches around the neckline are picked up to work the collar in the round. Assemble the pieces at the end.
