Le Blooshier Knitting Pattern
$8
This oversized jumper knitting pattern is perfect for beginners and comes as an easy-to-read downloadable PDF.
Le Blooshier is an oversized, yet light and airy high neck jumper with dropped shoulders.
Description:
This simple, oversized jumper is knitted from the bottom up in separate pieces, using 2 strands of the same yarn in different colours held together. First you will work the back body, starting with the 1×1 rib. The rest of the back is worked in stockinette stitch. The front is then worked in the same way as the back until the shaping takes place by binding off the centre section and working the 2 shoulders separately. You will use decreases to shape the neckline. The balloon shaped sleeves are then constructed by working 1×1 rib stitch for the cuffs, increasing directly above the cuff, and knitting stockinette stitch for the rest of the sleeves. The shoulders are joined, and then the stitches around the neckline are picked up to work the collar in the round. Finally the arms are attached to the body, and then the side and underarm seams are joined.
